Margarita recipe
I perfected my margarita recipe this weekend. I really cant cook or make anything in the kitchen beyond pastaand frozen pizza so its kind of a big deal for me :-p
- 1oz fresh lime/lemon juice – I usually squeeze a whole lime and half a lemon.
- 2oz tequila – Suaza Hornitos for budget, something nicer when balling.
- 3oz margarita mix – I like trader joe’s mix. Ratchet back to 2 oz of mix if you want more tequila flavor.
- 1tsp Cointreau – 80 proof triple sec. Add more to taste. I prefer a hint.
- 1tsp Grand Marnier – 80 proof triple sec part 2… you see where I am going with this.
- Dash of agave nectar – Just a bit of the secret sauce.
- 8 to10 ice cubes, big glass, salted rim
