There’s a nice writeup today in Adweek today about the upsurge in sales CNN is getting on their T-Shirts site today and yesterday, thanks to Obama’s victory. Awesome!
Pretty cool guys--your own piece of virtual history. I wonder if "Do you remember where you were when they called the Obama election?" will be the e-generation's equivalent to JFK being shot for our parents?
do articles note how many people have bought t-shirts with it's headline? might be kinda cute.
while you'd fed headlines to t-shirts, I'd been thinking of feeding favorite tweets to - besides t-shirts - fortune cookies, teabag tags, bumper stickers, and other things that are hungry for 140 characters or less: showerinthedark.blogspot.com/2008/10/feeding-twitter-to-text-hungry.html.
would also be nice if CNN let readers choose/vote on the headlines they want, a la Threadless. (I presume you made this suggestion to CNN, but it was declined?) because - if anyone's reading this - hi, and if you Google my name + CNN, you'll find the headline I want. er, might want, someday.
