Stephanie Smeriglio
Director of Client Services :: New York office
Stephanie serves as a Client Services Executive in our New York office. Stephanie is the chief go-to person for her clients, handling their needs, hopes and dreams, across multiple projects and engagements, or even if we have no active projects going on. She’s here to make your life easier, and to make sure we all get along.
Stephanie joins us after nearly a year of hounding, as she was one of our best clients while working at OgilvyOne Worldwide on the Foster’s project we worked on with them. We are delighted to have her. Since she’s been at The Barbarian Group, Stephanie has been managing the relationships of several of our agency and direct clients, such as Frito-Lay, CNN, The New Museum of Contemporary Art, and our work with Droga5 and Ogilvy. Stephanie reports to Bruce, our president, and Rick, our COO.
In her 3 or so years at Ogilvy, Stephanie worked first as an Associate, and then worked her way on up to Account Supervisor. She worked on the interactive business for several consumer packaged goods brands, including, Dove, Hellmann’s, Kraft, Honey Bunches of Oats (can’t beat that!), Fruit20, Maxwell House and more. She was also serving as a “360 partner” for all strategic and future planning for these brands, formulating strategies to effectively meet client needs ranging from innovative brand sites to effective online advertising. If that doesn’t sound professional, we don’t know what is.
On top of all of this, Stephanie actually went to school for this stuff, attending the University of Virginia, and doing stints at Carat USA and at Benneton in the PR world. Prior to her life in advertising, Stephanie taught Kindergarten. We’ll leave it to you to judge whether this is relevant experience or not.
